The PMO Associate will work closely with the PMO Manager, Project Managers, and IT management to ensure portfolio data quality is both timely and accurate. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for facilitation of PMO processes and governance, PMO presentations, metrics, and report writing. The PMO Associate is directly accountable for the administration of the PPM tool (Daptiv). The PMO Associate will have exposure to all areas of the business.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT or Project Management.
High level of initiative for excellence, results and process improvement.
Solid presentation skills both verbal and written.
Ability to think analytically and be a problem solver.
Demonstrated abilities in planning and communication of ideas and concepts.
Strong interpersonal skills to work with individuals at all levels of the business.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer skills, including developing presentations in PowerPoint.
At least one year of work or internship experience in a related role (such as project coordination/facilitation, training, administrative based systems management, report creation and analysis etc.)
Team Skills Training.
Knowledge of ERP applications.
Experience with Microsoft project, Daptiv or other project portfolio management software.
Experience in training others and facilitation of meetings.
Prior experience working in a project management environment.
Provide Daptiv (PPM Tool) administrative support including system configuration, user setup and support, user training, and reporting.
Develop positive relationships with IT team members and the business.
Develop, maintain, and modify PMO presentations and metrics and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
Schedule, prepare, and facilitate weekly PMO meetings with IT management and track issues resolutions.
Perform data quality checks to ensure portfolio information is timely and accurate.
Responsible for monitoring and govern some of the PMO processes (ex : change request process, level 0 project communication, baselining,..)
Expected to project manage some IT PMO internal projects as well as assist IT team members with their project management tasks such as project plan maintenance or stage gate preparation.
