POSITION: IT PROJECT MANAGER
Location: Mequon WI

Salary: $90000-98000 + 8% Bonus

The role of the Project Manager is to plan, monitor, and manage the successful outcome of the assigned projects thru the execution of the company Project Management methodology and PM life cycle. The Project Manager is expected to participate in the company’s continuous improvements initiatives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master of Business Administration or related degree.
PMP Certification
Three to five years leadership experience in an industrial manufacturing environment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Business Administration or related degree.
Five to seven years directly managing medium to large scale business and technology based projects (new technology implementations, custom applications, process improvement initiatives) using formal, industry standard project management concepts, principles and methodologies.
Completion of formal project management training
Proven business acumen and vendor management skills
Ability to demonstrate analytical, problem solving, and qualitative analysis skills.
Demonstrated experience in the project management of technology based projects. Experience working productively with internal and external service delivery teams
Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
Proven ability to influence without authority.
Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including management, peers, and external resources.
Effective at teaching and mentoring others in project management practices and methodologies.
Strong functional knowledge with project management software (i.e. Daptiv, Prima Vera, MS Projects)

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Responsible for the development and execution of project plans, associated communication, risk mitigation, and change management plans.
Research, identify and plan project resources (internal and external).
Create and present project status updates to project sponsors, management and steering committees.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
Conduct project post mortems, communicating lessons learned and providing feedback to support the continued growth of the PMO and all future projects.
Provide input and expertise around the execution of company’s PMO office and vision.
Responsible to control and monitor project scope, time, cost, and quality for all projects.
Educate the organization on the processes and procedures of the PMO program.
Assist the business in developing project objectives, defining project scope, and determining success criteria.
